“I am passionate about awakening the contribution potential of all people, based on the deepest expression of themselves. I love coaching people who want to look at the biggest picture of their possible impact and move toward that.” Virginia helps her clients connect with their inner strength and step into meaningful, impactful lives. She creates a safe, natural space for connection and embraces a holistic approach to coaching – integrating mind, body, spirit and soul. “I love thinking about the intersection of soul and leadership, where coaching has such impact. The coaching process is able to bring out the deepest connection to soul and then make it real in the world.”
A founding member of Coaching that Works, Virginia is a dynamic coach and trainer. She naturally moves people toward a deep connection with themselves and others, and creates a safe haven for ideas, discussion and growth. “The CTW classroom provides a space where personal transformation abounds as students and trainers embark on a journey of learning and discovery together. Our trainers are always looking at the edge and discovering ways to refine our programs to provide maximum impact.”
A catalyst in the coaching profession since 1996, Virginia’s deep desire to help people with their lives led her to discover the transforming power of coaching. “The coaching process connects people to themselves and holds them to bring more of themselves into the world.” She has a heart for bringing coaching to diverse populations and international communities. “In my work as a coach trainer in a federal prison system, everything shifted for me. I learned that once human beings see even a glimpse of what they have to offer, they set about offering it. Even when locked up for 30 years, they find a way to offer their gifts.”
As a mystical journal quilter, Virginia nurtures her creativity and feeds her continual quest for personal growth. The feathers, rocks, shells and corral displayed in her office serve as a reminder of her connection to the earth. She loves digging in the dirt as she skillfully cares for the flowers and vegetables in the multiple gardens surrounding her home. “My favorite place to be is home – surrounded by nature and people I love.”
Virginia is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach and Master Certified Coach. She is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and serves as a Board member for the Abuse and Rape Crisis Center and local Farmer’s Market.
Virginia’s home is often found bustling with friends and family enjoying good food, great conversation and abundant laughter. “Life goes best when I save the best part of my day for myself.” |
