By Meghan Ondrish
The Leadership that Works’ community is gearing up for this year’s Spring conference, The Next Edge: Coaching. Collaboration. Connection, to be held April 18 & 19 at the New York City Seminar and Conference Center.
Described as a “2-day immersion in coaching heaven,” The Next Edge is designed for certified coaches, facilitators, consultants, social justice activists, leaders and changemakers.
With over a dozen workshops and opportunities for open space discussions, the conference will provide attendees with innovative and even risky ways to utilize coaching skills in their own work and stay at the front edge of the coaching profession.
Professionals from around the world will be in attendance. Adele James, LTW faculty member and conference committee member says, “We’re not just talking multicultural, we’re actually working with other cultures … So, you’re going to get to explore the new ways coaching is being used around the world.”
Adds LTW faculty member and committee member, Kathy Grosso, “I’m looking forward to seeing people and reconnecting. Some people from my CFT class I’ve never seen face-to-face will be there, it will be really good to sit down with them.”
Registration is only $345 when you register by February 28, after that date, the regular fee is $445. The cost includes plenary address, workshops, open space and continental breakfast and snacks on both days. Scholarships and CCEU’s are available.
