Kathy Grosso’s coaching path is built on a desire to embed coaching in communities and organizations. “Making coaching skills available and accessible to as many individuals and organizations excites me and grounds me in my desire to work within and for community.”
For almost thirty years, Kathy has worked in both public and private schools. Her roles have ranged from teacher to Principal to Central Office Director. She’s also served as a volunteer in a number of community non-profits in the Battle Creek, Michigan community.
She combines her coaching skills and educational background to provide organizations with the resources and capacity to change, grow, and contribute in ways that are creative, life-sustaining, and transformative. “I continue to see opportunities for coaching to provide the relevant and foundational skills necessary to implement a variety of community change initiatives - from racial equity to early childhood programs to K-12 Family Engagement to Protective Factors.”
Kathy was certified as a Professional Coach through the Coaching for Transformation Program and is also a graduate of the Battle Creek’s Civic and Community Leadership Program. She loves to be outside; walking, biking, or kayaking and enjoys cooking and trying new recipes. “Anytime those activities can be combined with my husband, my two kids, or my extended family, I'm happy, happy!”
